According to the article 1012 of Civil Code of Russian Federation one party (settler of trust) transfers property to another party (trustee) for the time specified under the agreement on property trust management, and trustee engages itself to manage the property for the sake of the settler or the person stated by him.

Property transfer doesn’t imply transferring property rights. Term of property trust agreement can’t exceed 5 years. The deal is to be officially registered.

Transferred property is separated from property of settler as well as from property of trustee. Financial operations connected with this property are presented at separated balance sheet and entity accounting is kept. Special bank account is opened for the payments connected with transferred property.
